Whether in summer or winter, the sun gives off UVA and UVB rays all year round. UVB rays are responsible for sunburn (UVB = burn). UVA rays penetrate deeper, damage the skin and thus make it age faster (UVA = ageing).

Although the radiation is somewhat weaker in winter and it is more difficult to get a sunburn, the skin is still exposed to radiation, especially if the sunlight is reflected from snow or ice. These reflections can increase exposure by up to 90%.

For these reasons, it is important to protect your skin from the sun on a daily basis. The “clean ocean non-nano mild sunscreen” from beplain is ideal for daily use, with the protection of “SPF 50+ / PA ++++”. SPF 50 stands for very high protection against UVB rays, PA ++++ stands for extremely high protection against UVA rays. An SPF of at least 30 and a PA of +++ are recommended for everyday use.

Since this sun cream has a mineral base, the sun protection works within a few minutes because it sits on the skin and reflects the sun’s rays. In addition, the formulation is water-resistant, which means that protection is maintained even when through sweat. It has a matte finish, does not leave a white cast and is ideal for oily skin types because its light texture does not clog the pores.

HOW TO USE

1. Apply the sunscreen about 30 minutes before you go out in the sun
2. Apply a generous layer on the skin as the last step of your (morning) care routine
3. Reapply every 4 hours for continuous protection
